Maria’s Stainless Steel 446 Pipes are crafted from a high-chromium ferritic stainless steel alloy, featuring about 23–27% chromium and low carbon content. This unique blend offers exceptional resistance to oxidation, sulfidation, and scaling at high temperatures. SS 446 pipes deliver moderate strength, with a tensile strength of around 485 MPa and a yield strength close to 275 MPa, while also providing good toughness and thermal conductivity. Although they aren’t easily hardened through heat treatment, these pipes maintain their structural integrity at temperatures reaching up to 1100°C, making them perfect for high-temperature applications where corrosion and oxidation are significant concerns.
