Stainless Steel 348 Pipes are made of chromium (17-19%), nickel (9-13%) and columbium, for enhanced corrosion resistance and high thermal properties Mechanical properties include 550 MPa tensile strength, 220 MPa yield strength and 35% elongation. Because of their excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion and stress-corrosion cracking, these pipes are ideal for use in temperatures up to 1500°F (816°C) The columbium addition provides the material stability, improving resistance to carbide precipitation, and improving durability and reliability across a range of industrial applications.
