Maria’s Stainless Steel 409L Tubing is crafted from a stabilized, low-carbon ferritic stainless steel alloy. Its composition features 10.5–11.75% chromium and a low carbon content (≤0.03%) to enhance weldability and corrosion resistance. Titanium is incorporated to boost stabilization during welding and high-temperature applications. SS 409L tubing boasts mechanical properties like a tensile strength of 380–450 MPa and a yield strength of 170–280 MPa, along with good elongation and moderate hardness. This tubing is reliable in mildly corrosive environments and at elevated temperatures, making it perfect for structural and exhaust-related applications in automotive and industrial systems.
