Stainless Steel 347H Tubing is an austenitic stainless steel alloy consisting mainly of chromium (17–20%), nickel (9–13%), along with columbium and tantalum added to provide stability. Because of its composition, it is best suited for service in high temperatures. The mechanical aspects of 347H are its tensile strength of approximately 485 MPa, yield strength of 170 MPa, and elongation of 35%. It also has good resistance to intergranular corrosion, creep strength, and durability in pressure and heat.
