Stainless Steel 201 Tubing consists of about 16–18% chromium, 3.5–5.5% nickel, 5.5–7.5% manganese, and the rest is iron, along with trace amounts of carbon, nitrogen, and silicon. This unique blend gives it a great mix of strength, corrosion resistance, and affordability. It boasts a tensile strength of around 515 MPa and a yield strength of about 275 MPa, along with good elongation properties. The lower nickel content is offset by higher manganese levels, which enhance its work-hardening capabilities and formability for various fabrication processes.
