**316Ti Seamless Pipes, Stainless Steel** are produced from a molybdenum-containing austenitic stainless steel alloy with a titanium addition (about 0.5%) for the purpose of increased resistance to sensitization and intergranular corrosion, particularly following welding. The material contains 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum. The pipes have a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of about 35%. Seamless fabrication provides for even wall thickness and greater pressure carrying capacity, which makes 316Ti well suited for use in applications where both corrosion and heat resistance are needed without sacrificing mechanical strength.
