Copper nickel welded tubing is usually composed of 90% copper and 10% nickel, provides corrosion resistance, especially in marine environments, and its mechanical properties include tensile strength of about 310 MPa, excellent ductility and thermal conductivity. The weld system enhances strength and reliability making it suitable for high-pressure applications. The main advantages are resistance to biofouling, ease of manufacture and low maintenance. This type of tubing is ideal for use in shipbuilding and offshore platforms and chemical applications ensuring long-term performance in extreme conditions.
